The First Week

So it's almost been a full week with my "Wreck This Journal" book. I have done a couple pages which I will show you on this blog. I noticed with this book though I get some really good ideas for pages but end up not doing them because I can't draw worth a crap so the pages are left blank instead.

This page was to create your own page numbers. I wish my numbers would have turned out better but I like this page for how it turned out anyway. The page numbers I decided to use for the whole book are just all in black Sharpie, nothing special to them. This page didn't take me very long to do it was quite simple.






This Scratch Using a Sharp Object page wasn't that hard but it was sort of difficult because of the utensil I was using. I used a small push pin that goes on a cork board to create my scratches. I decided to go with a quote "Live, Laugh, Love!" The cloud around the instructions on the pages took quite some time to do. I have to say this page turned out really well but my finger was purple after doing this page.

This was the first page I ended up doing out of the whole book I think. I found the nearest paper to me and realized it was from the current day so I couldn't use a section that was important. So I went to the classifieds and took the horiscopes and the pet page. The problem I ended up having was when I went to glue this page my glue must have been too old because it was like water all over the newspaper.

This page was super easy but fun to do. I don't know why I waited to do this page but I guess I just did.

This page took the most time I think because of coming up with four letter words. I ended up coming up with quite a few of them and I wanted to fill the page. My original idea was to just write the words out and not draw anything, but I think it turned out cool with the drawings. I liked how this turned out but I wish I could have drew some other things like a dinosour by the rawr. This was the most recent page I have done I haven't done another one since that.



This page was probably one of the pages that took the most time. I had a compeletely different idea for this page but this is what I came up with. What I wanted for this page was to have zebra print lines running onto both pages but instead I took the easier route and did diagnal lines and swervy lines. The coloring took forever on these pages and went through a lot of sharpening on those dang colored pencils. I like how the colors ended up turning out though.

Alright well thats all I have done for now. The next time I do a post about these I'm going to try to figure out a different way to show the pictures and explain about them since this didn't turn out very well. Not sure how many pages I will get done this upcoming week since I have to work quite a bit.

Wreck This Journal

I recieved this book yesterday right before I was heading to work. I wanted to work on it right then but I knew I had to go. So it got to take it's first journey to work with me. I couldn't wait to start on it. I found this book by just going through my tumblr and saw some of my followers had one and posted pictures of their pages.
One of the mistakes I made was looking at other peoples pages because now I want to make mine as pretty and cool as theirs. I wish I never would have looked at those, but I'm trying to make it as original as possible. I also wish I was a better artist so that I could actually draw some cool things inside of it.
On some of these pages you literally have to wreck this book, like bring it in the shower with you or spill coffee on it. One of the funny ones I found was to tie a string to the book and take it on a walk with you. I plan on doing everything in this book but some of these things will be a bit difficult.
I plan on taking pictures of every pages I complete and post them onto this blog hopefully to give me something to actually blog about. So far I have only worked on the front page of putting down my name, and guess what! I've already messed up on it haha. Oh well, this book is all about mess ups. I can't wait to work on it farther when I have time and supplies for it. My book looks clean now, I can't wait to see what it looks like once it's finished.
Keri Smith is the author of this book and she has many other books. I looked into her other books and they are all similiar to this book just different. If I enjoy this one when it's finished I may just invest into getting some of her other books. These books seem to get the creative juices inside of you flowing and have you do different tasks so you don't have to think of your own.

Writers Block

I just don't know what to write anymore. This is exactly what happened to my other blog, I was only writing one post per month. I wasn't going to let this happen to this one, but it looks like it's following right in the footsteps of it. It makes me really angry because I feel like I have a lot to say, but not so much of actually saying it.
I've used Google for ideas but it basically tells me nothing. Supposed to get my own ideas out of this head that feels soo blank. I wish I could actually write something, anything really. I am tired of having nothing to write when I feel like typing a whole day away. All I've got is nothing, nothing at all.
I hope this goes away soon cause this drives me crazy!

Tomorrow is Valentines Day. The day I used to hate soo much, but that was over 3 years ago. Ever since then I've loved it, maybe it's because I have had a Valentine since then. I can't wait to surprise my boyfriend tomorrow, I just hope he likes the stuff I got him. I have to get up early to go put it all in his locker before he gets there, but then I have to go to work.
Speaking of work, today I had to work a four hour shift. Well I cashed this guys huge check and not even a half hour later he had purchased me flowers. I thought it was nice of him to do but he didn't have to do that. He bought them for me because he thought he caused problems when he was cashing his check when really I just made a mistake, he felt bad for having me to do extra work? I dont know. I ended up taking the flowers home for my mom to have.
Okay well I guess I'm done for now.

Teen Mom 2

In this entry I am going to write about my favorite TV show. I have followed this show from the very beginning which is a first for me because most shows I get bored and just lose interest. I'll write about Teen Mom 2 because the current season is on TV right now. I follow them all on Twitter also, so I already have read whats gone on this season. I always hate when the season ends because then I don't have anything to watch on my Tuesdays.
Out of this season my favorite one is Chelsea and her baby Aubree. I think she would leave Adam though, she does much better without him. Oh and how can I forget she loves leopard print, and sometimes when I watch these episodes I wish I could steal some of her animal print stuff. I just finished watching the Unseen Moments, and I literally laughed out loud when Chelsea and her friend were working out and Aubree decided to try to copy them. She is soo cute! Plus she is lucky to have a dad that helps her out and gives her some pretty good advice, he seems pretty funny. I was surprised to see her friend Megan in this episode.
Next is Kailyn, she is doing pretty good in my opinion, she's going to school and going farther than people thought she would. After watching this last episode I was wishing her and Joe got back together but obviously they don't. Isaac looks so happy with both of his parents together and I am honestly surprised when she had Joe stay the night. I like seeing them getting along, but she has gone pretty far with herself since moving out and going to school. In this last episode her boyfriend Jordan was getting angry because of Joe coming to visit Isaac, I would be worried if it was me too, but I think Kail should have told him what she was feeling, he deserves to know.
Leah does a lot of crying in this episode and looks like she does in the next one too. She seems to be going through a lot. I read that Corey already knew about her cheating before the wedding, but he brought it up during the time he was cheating? Weird. I'm glad she went and filed for divorce first and left wondering if she will get full custody of her two girls. I love Aleeahs eyes, they are soo blue. Now I dont agree with cheating but both did wrong, but I cannot stand watching Corey, he's always wearing the same thing and he seems selfish. Plus whats up with it seeming like Leah is the only one taking care of the twins?
Now onto the Jenelle, the one I can hardly watch because all the yelling and drugs annoy me. Surprisingly this episode was sort of a tear jerker when she went off to rehab in California. I was glad she decided to finally clean her life up, hopefully she can do it because I think she could be a pretty good mom to Jace if she just cleaned up and put him on top of her priorities. I could not stand Kieffer one bit, he was soo annoying and always wearing that same green zip-up hoodie. I was glad that she called and ended things with him, I think she went even more downhill when she started dating him. Hopefully when she returns from rehab she wont fall back into the same drama.
So I guess next week is the season finale or so I've heard, I sure hope not. I get confused by how people say this show "glamorizes" teen pregnancy. I honestly don't see how, how is getting a divorice at 18, not finishing high school, having custody fights, and no sleeping cool? I can defiantly see more girls trying to get pregnant just to be on this show, but that's just stupid. Alright enough of my spill on this show haha.

The Future

I just started reading this book called The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler and it really got me thinking. That's good for a book that I am only 70 pages in to actually get me wondering right away.

I would be freaked out if I found a future profile of myself and married to someone I don't even know. I would be curious though to where I lived and who I worked for. Would you look at your profile? What if you found a future you wanted, would you log back in later to see and change your whole future? There is soo many questions I would ask myself. I'm not even sure I would want to know my future and just live day by day.
I can't wait to read farther into this book to see what happens. Of course I'm going to have to keep reading to see if I enjoy the book farther. I just started reading this book today and I got to page 70 really quick. The font is sorta larger which makes it a faster read. So I hope I finish this book quickly to find out what happens.
I'm obviously not going to rate this book yet because I'm hardly into it. I need to know if it catches my attention through the whole thing. I love books that keep my attention from the beginning all the way to the end. I doubt I will post another post about this book so if I have something to say I will put it in the comments. So check back!
